You can practice this when you are alone, i.e. in your meditation space, as well as when you are actually with them. You can practice this when you are recalling a situation from the past (and bring healing to that past situation, which affects your present/future)... whenever you feel negative emotions/thoughts towards someone and you want to shift your perspective.
How to Access Unconditional Love When it's Difficult to Do:
- Put your focus on the person
- Notice* their heart chakra spinning gold, and that gold light is expanding, filling their chest cavity, and expanding beyond their physical body
- As this is happening, you can say to yourself: "We are all doing the best we can. We are learning, struggling, 'failing', shining bright...We are all doing the best we can." [If you feel inspired to say anything further/different, go with that in the moment.]
- See/feel/sense/know that your heart chakra is also spinning with gold energy and it's expanding from your heart center throughout your body and aura as you are seeing the Light in the other...
With this practice, you are choosing to see the Unconditional Love that they are, and are being reminded of it in yourself as well. [You can also do this practice for yourself, when you find it difficult to see your own Light.]. You are healing and expanding your own heart chakra, as well as acknowledging the Light in another.
A fun extra step is to notice and record how your thoughts/feelings change towards that person as you do this whenever negative emotion/thoughts towards them arise.
*By noticing, I mean you can sense, visualize, imagine (a gateway to clairvoyantly seeing energy), feel, just know it's happening, etc. This is a way to become more physically conscious of energy.
