For today's blogpost, I felt inspired to just do a rampage of appreciation real-time...so here goes!
Rampage of Appreciation - 2/12/18
I so appreciate the water I'm drinking right now.
The sun feels so nice on my face.
I love my kitty, he's so FLUFFY and sweet. I'm so thankful to have him in my life!
I'm loving lentils -- being able to cook them fresh each time is a blessing. And for having organic curry powder!

I started with things immediately around me that I enjoyed, then those appreciations took me from one random thing to the next, Sometimes I'd come up with something and it would slightly take it down a notch (so it wasn't a straight line of steady building). However, once I reached a certain vibrational point, everything started to feel the same...and I also didn't feel the need to come up with anything else. I just wanted to be in that space. A few times, things popped up that my mind was reminding me I 'should' be thankful for, but in the moment, I didn't feel the momentum behind them to increase my vibration (whereas other times, I may be very thankful for ...e.g. my family).
I encourage you to go one step further and try and capture how you are feeling, on paper. If you were to describe it, how does the feeling of Appreciation or Joy feel in your body, what sensations do you feel? What images come to mind to describe how you are feeling, etc.?
That way you can play with simply attuning to the frequency of Appreciation or Joy without necessarily needing to have anything external trigger those states of being within you (although however you get there, is great)! Just another tool...you can read more about Energy Attunement, HERE.
